Frequently asked questions
Do I need a special scanner?
No. A desktop scanner or the school photocopier is enough, set between 200 and 300 dpi in greyscale. A test sheet tells you in two minutes whether your settings work.
Can I scan the sheets in any order?
Yes. Page order and orientation do not matter: each sheet is identified by its QR code. Question papers scanned by mistake are set aside.
How should students mark their answers?
With a black or blue pen: a filled box, a cross or a tick. A faint or erased mark is never guessed: it is flagged for you with a doubt percentage.
What about written questions?
Grade them by hand as usual, then tick the grade in the grid on the answer sheet. It is read with everything else.
How do I copy grades into another system?
The Excel file follows the order of your class list, absent students included, so you can enter grades line by line.
Do students need an account for online exams?
No. They scan the projected QR code, type their name and answer. Only you have an account.
Is the free plan time-limited?
No. It stays free, with quotas that reset every month: 40 sheets graded and 2 online exams, and as many copies generated as you like.
How do I pay for a plan?
Once a year, by bank transfer or CashPlus. In “My plan” you get a payment reference; the plan is activated as soon as the payment is received and a receipt is emailed to you.
